Register now for Canton Academy
By Canton CitizenCanton Academy, the popular summer program offered by the Canton Public Schools, is just around the corner and registration is now underway.
Offering a wide variety of fun and exciting courses geared toward students in grades K-5, this year’s program also includes a new set of courses geared toward middle school students. They include flag football, cartooning, computer art, girls’ group and more.
The 2011 Canton Academy catalog (including registration forms) is available online at cantonma.org. Registration can be completed via fax, mail, or at Canton High School.
Weekly sessions run from July 5 to August 4. All sessions are Monday through Thursday, except for session one (July 5-8), which is Tuesday through Friday.
All classes will be held at the Hansen School with the exception of TV Production, Cartooning, and Intro to Computer Art, which will be held at Canton High School.
“Canton Academy looks forward to working with you and your child this summer,” said program director Ed Amico. “We are excited, as I hope you will be with the amount of options available to you and your child in a fun and safe environment.”
