Molis, Margaret E.
By Canton CitizenMargaret E. “Peg” Molis (O’Brien), 91, of Canton, passed away December 4 at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton.
Born in Boston, she was raised in Roslindale and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas School in Roslindale. She worked for New England Telephone Company for 10 years and previously worked as a receptionist for Garber Brothers in Randolph and Blue Hills Regional High School in Canton. Peg was a member and the former president of St. Bernadette’s Church Senior Group and was a 30-year breast cancer survivor.
Beloved wife of Walter A. Mother of Michael Molis and his wife, Clare, of Braintree, Catherine Noftle and her husband, John, of Franklin, and the late Patricia Desrochers, who is survived by her longtime companion, Marty DeMille, of Raynham. Grandmother of Molly, Erin, and Kellie Desrochers, and Daniel and Katie Molis and the late Ryan Molis. Sister of the late Ann Lynch.
A funeral mass was held Tuesday in St. James Church in Stoughton. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton.
