Nichols, Loretta

Born to Evangel and Martha Leshney on June 4, 1937 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Loretta was a devoted caretaker and loyal friend. Her green thumb and culinary expertise were surpassed only by her love and dedication to her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Charles Nichols, she is survived by her brother Thomas Leshney (Lola); son Dr. Eugene Nichols (Susan); daughter Julie Spillane (Christopher); son Robert Nichols; and cherished grandchildren Kristen Spillane Millman (Matthew), Emily Nichols, Brian Spillane (Anna), and Ethan Nichols. Loretta also leaves behind her dear nephews and niece.
An Orthodox Christian funeral service was held Saturday in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street. Burial at Knollwood Memorial Park.
