Rearick, Alice E.

Alice E. Rearick (White), 94, of Canton, passed away October 28.

Born and raised in Dedham, she graduated from Dedham High School. Alice worked as a manager clerk for New England Telephone in Boston for 25 years before retiring in 1991. She has lived in Canton since 1971 and was a longtime parishioner at St. Gerard Majella Church where she was a member of Care & Share, a Eucharistic minister, a member of the Ladies Sodality and the church prayer group.

Devoted mother of Thomas W. Rearick of Bow, NH, and his wife, Elizabeth, Susan A. Rearick of Waltham, and the late Alan R. Rearick. Sister of the late Wilfred, John, Ned, Richard, Roger, George, Philip and Ruth White, Elizabeth Winters, Ann Dale, and Eloise Murphy. Also survived by three grandchildren, Thomas C. Rearick, Leah Whitney and Haylee Douillette, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass was held Monday in St. Oscar Romero Church (formerly St. John the Evangelist) in Canton. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton.
