Powers, Robert T.

Robert T. Powers, 86, of Canton, passed away January 27.

Born and raised in Fall River, he graduated from Coyle Cassidy High School. He was the vice president of St. Johnsbury Trucking in Cambridge for many years before retiring. He has lived in Canton since 1969 and in his earlier years had his private pilot’s license and enjoyed flying out of Norwood Airport. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his dogs.

Beloved husband of Frances E. (Riley). Father of Lee McCourt and her husband, Mike, of Canton, Lori Igo and her husband, Jim, of Franklin, and Lynn Grimard of Canton. Grandfather of Rachel McCourt and Alexandra and Benjamin Igo. Brother of Joan Wertman of Sabattus, ME, Carol Dillon of Conway, SC, and Gerry Powers of Portsmouth, RI.
