Nogueira, Marilyn E.
By Canton CitizenMarilyn E. (Mildrum) Nogueira passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 13, 2022.
She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Marion Mildrum. She is survived by her best friend and loving husband, Bruce, with 58 years of marriage. Also survived by sons Scott Nogueira, Mark Nogueira and his wife, Kathy, daughter Susan Bordonaro, and grandchildren Valerie, Greg and Jonathan Nogueira, and Samantha and Matthew Bordonaro. Sister of William Mildrum and his wife, Patricia, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Marilyn graduated from Quincy Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse for many years at Quincy Hospital, Norwood Hospital and Neponset Valley Visiting Nurses. She enjoyed being involved with the Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, and spending time with her family and friends who she loved so much. She and Bruce spent many years boating on Cape Cod and enjoying its many beaches. After they both retired, Marilyn and Bruce became “snowbirds,” spending over 20 years wintering in Naples, Florida.
Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, on Saturday, March 19, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at 11 a.m. in St. Oscar Romero Church, 700 Washington Street in Canton. Burial will be at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canton Food Pantry, P.O. Box 202, Canton, MA, 02021, or to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley St., West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
