Delamere, James E.

James E. Delamere of Canton passed away March 31.

Born in Boston, he was raised in Dorchester and graduated from Dorchester High School. He worked a variety of jobs over the years and most recently worked at Knollwood Memorial Park on the grounds crew before retiring.

Beloved cousin of Beverly Quinn Kirwan and her husband, Philip “Bunny” of Canton. Jim was raised by his late aunt and uncle Ruth and George Coyle.

A funeral Mass was held at St. Oscar Romero Parish and burial was at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
