Olsen, Arlene E.

Arlene E. Olsen (White), 77, of Canton, passed away at Norwood Hospital October 5.

Born in Boston, she graduated from Jamaica Plain High School and previously worked for Plymouth Rubber in the payroll department and also part time for Morse Shoe. She has lived in Canton for the last 52 years and previously lived in Mattapan.

Beloved wife of the late Harold J. Jr. Mother of Harold J. “Jim” III of Norton, Lorraine Olsen-Viola of Brockton, and Larry M. Olsen of Mansfield. Also survived by seven grandchildren.

A funeral mass was held Saturday morning, October 8, in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. Donations may be made in her memory to the MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
