Born and raised in South Boston, she graduated from Gate of Heaven School and had lived in Canton since 1955. She worked for many years for Relief Printing Company in Boston before retiring. Dorismae enjoyed spending time in Anna Maria Island in Florida and bowling with the Stoughton Civic Association.
Beloved wife of the late Paul E. Toronto Sr. Mother of Paul E. Toronto Jr. and his wife, Amy, of East Falmouth, Janice T. Ross and her husband, Mark, of East Falmouth, and Jill T. Goodwin and her fiancé, Steven McCarrick, of Stoughton. Grandmother of Jennifer, Juliana, Brandon, Matthew, and Hannah. Daughter of the late Katherine Connolly. Sister of the late Eugene and Frank Donahue.
A funeral service will be held Thursday (today) at 12 noon at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in her memory to the MSPCA at mspca.org or to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
