Abbott, Carolin

Carolin Abbott, 77, a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother, passed away on October 19, 2022.

Born in Manchester, CT, she was proceeded in death by her parents, Daniel and Virginia. Carol graduated as a registered nurse from the Boston City Hospital School of Nursing in 1966. She was raised in Needham, where she met the love of her life and high school sweetheart, John Abbott. They were married for 55 years and raised their two children, Lauren and Sam, in Canton.

Carol is mourned by her husband, John; her sister Candy and her husband, Dean Ross; daughter Lauren and her husband, Patrick Kenny; son Sam and his wife, Jennifer; her grandchildren Charlie and Will Kenny and Sierra and Wyndam Abbott; her sister-in-law Susan Abbott; nieces Diane, Emily and Amanda; and cousins Sara, Philip and Gigi Moran.

Carol was a longstanding member of the Canton Garden Club as well as the Milton-Hoosic Club. She loved her Canton Book Club, happy hour with her best friend Ginny, and traveling. She served as a Girl Scout leader for years, volunteered at local hospitals, and will be remembered for her talented tablescape creations for holidays/get togethers that showed her love for family and friends.

A celebration of life for Carolin will be held at the Milton-Hoosic Club in Canton on Saturday, November 19, from 1-4 p.m. for family and friends. Business casual.
